Addition to the Fleet
To assist in the growth of Associated Scale Service, management has purchased a new 15t
truck to assist in the Heavy Industrial Sector. This mainly involves the weighbridge
and
concrete
industry
As Associated Scale Service is a major supplier of the heavy industry scales, this new
acquisition
is a plus for our customers, which will ensure a quicker response to the weighing
needs.
An inclusion to this new vehicle is also a new forklift and test equipment.
We are focused on our customers needs and our ongoing reinvestment into the company

Flood Damage
It is the goal of Associated Scale Services to offer addtional assistance with higher discounts to any flood related damage repairs or new equipment. We, as a company are also offering the loan of scales to our existing customers, free of charge (depending on availability) to again help will get these affected businesses back up and running.
Setup, Certifcation (if needed) and delivery will not be charged to also assist in the rebuilding of the

Forklift Scale by Avery Weigh-Tronix
The first of the Avery Weigh-Tronix FLSC high capacity forklift scales with the renowned FL425 weight controller was ordered for a Victorian Customer.
This system has been supplied to minimize product collecting and truck loading. This is achieved through having a forlift system which is very close to the accuracy of a platform/pallet scale.
The FI425 allows for total per pack as well as allowing the driver to know the weight that is being loaded onto the truck. Daily totals as well finalized the audit trail. As the FI425 is fully programmable, the system will allow for future requirements as the company looks for more time savings to assist growth.

HIGH ACHEIVERS MEETING
Associated Scales was invited as a High Achiever to the AND Australasia company to company partnership meeting. These meetings are to allow the companies within weighing industry who promote AND products to discuss the future development of the AND brand and product line as well as allowing AND Australasia to gain valuable feed back to the Australian Market.

approvals. With all going well the approvals of this range will be available in the New Year.

AS665 CONCRETE BATCHING SYSTEM
Through 18 months of consultation with the concrete industry the first of the AS665 batch controlling panels has been installed in North Queensland. This installation has been a seamless process and from the batch operation through to management the system has been very well accepted.
Training of this system had taken no more than 3-4 hours . Even though the system is very simple to operate the control and audit trail is of a very high caliber.
A second system is intended for installation in Mid December in the South East Queensland region.
(As modified version of the AS665 has also been installed in Mackay at a concrete site where full control of aggregate controlled bins is used.)
